What is an Impact-Maker?
I spent almost a decade talking to and creating friendships with incredible business owners and organization leaders through networking (and jabbering!)
In the middle of 100 coffee meetings, I shared and heard so many common struggles floating around from impact-maker to impact-maker. Sharing in similar struggles was about the only thing I felt I had in common with these hard-working visioneers and self-starters.
But what is an impact-maker exactly? Is there a statistic tied to what it means to make an impact?
How many must you reach to make “impact” in this hyper-connected world where it’s easy to count “followers” and “fans” but not seeds planted?
Through these many insightful and interesting conversations I have learned even the smallest impact, is still a big impact; despite how some industries define “high-impact.”
So, how do you measure your impact? Why does your impact matter today?
Whatever impact you are hoping to make, do not be afraid to define it. Do not be afraid to think you’re good enough for it. There are plenty of people looking to do bad in this world, we should be ready to do some good!
